THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR COLLECTION, I HAVE LOVED DENO FOR A LONG TIME BUT NOT WELL VERSED WITH THE RAT PACK, THIS IS A FUN CD TO LISTEN TO, YOU CAN HEAR THE MAGIC THESE BOYS HAD, SAMMY IS GREAT ON THE CD.
I mostly bought this because I was having trouble finding E-O-11 on another album. Glad I did -- lots of great recordings here. A nice addition to my collection.
My husband loves the Rat Pack. This upbeat CD, with songs you don't hear everyday, is a hit with this family. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for music by Dean, Sammy and Frank.
So much better than all of the hip-hop "yelling at life" stuff out today that is so degrading. I bought this for my 15 year old son who has recently discovered and loves the singers/standards/jazz of the 50's and 60's. He actually goes to sleep listening to this. A great selection from Frank, Sammy and Dean. I would recommend this to anyone.
A compilation of studio recordings by Messrs. The Rat Pack, (aka Frank, Dean and Sam) this irrepressibly upbeat CD is a fine intro to those of us (not me) too young to remember The Boys in their hey-hey days, and a gift of memory to those who do (including me).Standards from The Rat Pack catalogue round out most of this disc, topped by Sammy Davis Jr.'s beautiful blues rendition of the original OCEAN'S ELEVEN theme song.
